What is Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing?
A metal 3D printing process that melts welding wire with an electric arc and deposits it layer by layer using a robot. It is a form of Directed Energy Deposition (DED), and parts above one metre are achievable depending on robot reach and positioner setup.
Which materials can I use?
Any weldable wire with the right supporting hardware: steels, stainless steels, nickel, aluminium and copper alloys. Working with a different alloy? We develop the process with you.
Do I need a 3D model?
It helps, but it is not required. If you only have the physical part, we can 3D scan it and create the model.
What space and utilities does a cell need?
A dedicated floor area, three-phase power, shielding gas and fume extraction. We share the exact site layout and requirements with your quote.
Can you trial my part before I buy?
Yes. We run trials and sample prints on your part on a paid basis.
Do you support tenders, GeM and grant-funded purchases?
Yes. We are registered on GeM and provide specifications, compliance documents and technical support for institutional tenders and grant-funded labs.
What warranty and support do I get?
Every cell comes with a one-year warranty, installation and operator training. After that, an AMC covers maintenance and support.
Are software updates included?
Yes, free for the first year. After that, updates are included in the paid AMC.
What does a cell cost?
It depends on the configuration. Request a call and we will scope it with you.
